Neuwied's New Digital Hub Connects Families to Local Youth Services

Neuwied's Youth and Children's Office has launched a new digital portal called up2date-neuwied. The platform provides a central hub for families, children and young people to find local clubs, playgrounds and youth spaces. It aims to keep residents informed about available services and activities in the area.

The portal was developed after Lukas Mechenich, during his voluntary social year, visited and documented every playground and youth space in Neuwied. His work now forms the basis of the platform's detailed playground guide, which includes individual listings, map views and filters by district.

Beyond playgrounds, up2date-neuwied also serves as a news directory for clubs and organizations. Registered groups receive their own access to manage their listings and connect directly with their target audience. Stefan Caratiola, a representative of the initiative, has encouraged local clubs to share their programs and events on the platform to attract new members.

For additional support, the portal offers a 'Help & Tips' section. This provides guidance on funding opportunities and grants available for youth and children's initiatives. All content is regularly updated to ensure the information remains current and reliable.

Access to the playground guide and organization registration is available via the website www.up2date-ourwebsite.

The new portal simplifies the search for youth services in Neuwied by bringing all information together in one place. Families, clubs and young people can now easily explore local opportunities, from playgrounds to funding advice. The platform's regular updates help maintain its accuracy and usefulness for the community.
