Javea's 31st International Festival Unites 19 Countries in a Free Cultural Celebration

The 31st Javea International Festival will bring global culture to the streets of Javea, Spain. Running from July 2 to July 4, 2026, the event will turn Via Augusta into a vibrant hub of food, music, and tradition. Organisers expect more than 30,000 visitors to attend the free celebration. This year’s festival will feature 19 countries, with Thailand joining for the first time. Morocco and Uruguay will return to share their traditional dishes and folklore alongside other nations.

Daily performances will include a Swiss alphorn demonstration by Ueli Ott and Fritz Frautschi. Evening entertainment will showcase a diverse lineup, with acts such as Sweet Soulz duo, Mariachi Internacional, and Candombe Valencia. Local dance schools and live bands, including New Blanca Band and Swag, will also take the stage.

Local groups will present Costa Blanca’s own music and cultural heritage. The festival aims to create connections between different cultures while celebrating global unity through shared experiences. The event is open to all, with no admission fee. Both residents and summer tourists are invited to enjoy the food, performances, and cultural exchanges. With a wide range of activities, the festival promises three days of international celebration in Javea.
