Frantzen Group Unveils Marbella's Beach Club Astoria for 2026
The Frantzen Group is set to open Beach Club Astoria in Marbella in summer 2026. This will mark the group’s first beachfront venue, expanding its growing portfolio. The concept was first introduced in Stockholm in 2021 and has since spread to Singapore and the Maldives. Beach Club Astoria aims to blend Nordic precision with a relaxed coastal atmosphere. The menu will offer a more casual dining experience compared to the group’s formal fine dining restaurants. Chef Bjorn Frantzen, who currently oversees three three-Michelin-star venues, leads the project.
The group already operates Brasserie Astoria in Nueva Andalucia, a popular spot in the region. With fierce competition among beachfront destinations in Andalucia, the new venue seeks to stand out. Recruitment for premium front-of-house and kitchen staff is now underway for both the beach club and the brasserie. Beach Club Astoria will open its doors in Marbella in 2026. It will be the Frantzen Group’s first beachfront location, adding to its global presence. The venue is expected to attract diners with its unique blend of Nordic and coastal influences.
