Atzaró Collection Unveils Bespoke Wine Journeys Across South Africa's Winelands

Atzaró Collection has launched a new programme offering personalised wine experiences in South Africa’s Winelands. The tailored itineraries cover Constantia, Stellenbosch, and Franschhoek, giving visitors control over their journey through the region’s vineyards and estates. The Winelands programme allows guests to shape their own adventure. They can select specific regions, the number of estates to visit daily, and the type of experiences they prefer. The Atzaró Cape Town team designs each itinerary to match individual tastes.

Constantia Valley, just 20 minutes from Cape Town’s centre, serves as a convenient starting point. Its historic estates and modern hospitality blend centuries of winemaking with contemporary dining. Stellenbosch, framed by dramatic mountains and Cape Dutch architecture, hosts some of the country’s most renowned wineries.

Franschhoek, often called the food and wine capital of the Western Cape, pairs French influences with local charm. The programme also extends beyond the vineyards—guests can combine their wine tour with a stay at Atzaró Okavango Camp in Botswana for a wider African experience.

Winter in the Western Cape (June to August) provides ideal conditions for tastings, cellar tours, and long lunches. With fewer crowds than in peak season, visitors can explore at a relaxed pace. The programme introduces travellers to the landscapes, wines, and culture of the Cape Winelands. It offers flexibility, authenticity, and the chance to combine wine exploration with other African destinations. Guests leave with a deeper connection to the region’s heritage and flavours.
