Center Parcs Honours Top Suppliers at Eighth Annual Awards Ceremony

Center Parcs hosted its eighth annual Supplier Awards on Tuesday, 25 September 2018, at Elveden Forest. The event recognised over 1,800 suppliers, with a record 500 nominations submitted across 13 categories. A new award, Best Newcomer, was also introduced this year for suppliers working with the company for up to 12 months. The evening began with a tour of Center Elveden Forest, followed by a three-course meal. Guests also took part in a charity raffle, raising £2,360 for Together for Short Lives—the company’s corporate charity partner since June 2016.

Thomas Ridley Foodservice, based in Bury St Edmunds, took home the top prize as Supplier of the Year. The company has supplied Center Parcs for 30 years. Martyn Smith, Head of Procurement at Center Parcs, highlighted their professional service and dedication to meeting business and guest needs. This year saw a 22% rise in nominations compared to 2017, reflecting growing engagement from suppliers.

The awards celebrated long-standing partnerships and welcomed new contributors. Thomas Ridley Foodservice’s win marked three decades of collaboration with Center Parcs. The event also supported Together for Short Lives through the charity raffle.
