connexia Wins Austria's 2026 National Business Quality Award for Excellence

The National Business Quality Award for 2026 has been awarded to connexia, a care provider from Vorarlberg. The ceremony took place in Vienna on June 17. The award recognises companies and organisations for their holistic excellence in business practices. The Foundation Platform of Austria’s Major Employment Foundations also received a special prize. It was honoured for its work in benchmarking and managing change. Austria’s employment foundations support individuals in career transitions through counselling, training, and job placement services.

The award itself is based on the Excellence Framework Europe (EFE). It has been presented annually since 1996 by the BMWET in partnership with Quality Austria. This year’s jury included six members from different organisations.

connexia stood out among the finalists, beating faircheck Claims Service and MIBA Plain Bearings Austria. The company specialises in home-based care, long-term residential care, and counselling. The jury highlighted its strong business excellence, corporate culture, and commitment to social responsibility. The award confirms connexia’s position as a leader in its field. It also underscores the importance of high standards in business and social contribution. The special prize for the Foundation Platform further recognises innovation in employment support services.
