Klings celebrates grand opening with hydrotherapy and family fun on June 13
A Grand Opening Celebration will take place in Klings on June 13, 2026. The event, hosted by the Klings Small Animal Breeders’ Association and the Knirpsenland Support Group, promises a day of activities, food, and entertainment for all ages. Under the motto Together. Projects. Celebration., the community will gather to mark the launch of new local facilities. The official programme starts at 2:15 PM with the ceremonial opening of the new Kneipp hydrotherapy facility. Guests will then witness the inauguration of the kindergarten’s poultry aviary at around 2:45 PM, featuring performances by children from Kita Knirpsen daycare.
At 4:00 PM, attendees can join in the traditional 'first wading' of the Kneipp facility. Throughout the day, children can take part in sack races and egg-and-spoon races. A small animal exhibition and live music will also be part of the festivities. Coffee and homemade cakes will be served, while the event concludes at 6:00 PM with a Hungarian *bogrács* (kettle goulash) evening. The celebrations will all take place at the Village Community Center in Klings.
The day will bring together residents and visitors for a mix of ceremonies, activities, and shared meals. New community projects, including the Kneipp facility and poultry aviary, will officially open to the public. The event aims to strengthen local ties while offering entertainment for families.
