Man celebrates Russia Day with 630 free cotton candy treats in Biysk

Ilya Pyatkov celebrated Russia Day by giving away free cotton candy to residents of Biysk. The event drew significant local interest, with many people turning up for a sweet treat. He had originally planned to serve 1,000 portions but managed nearly 630 instead. The preparation for each portion took between three to five minutes. Pyatkov used 15 kilograms of sugar to create the cotton candy, which would have sold for around 100,000 rubles if not given away for free.

At first, receiving a treat required following Pyatkov’s social media accounts. Later, he decided to offer cotton candy to everyone who came. Over nine hours, he served the crowd with the help of his girlfriend, Dayana Shlyaeva, who played a key role in managing the event.

Many locals expressed their gratitude by bringing small gifts. By the end of the day, Pyatkov was exhausted but satisfied with how the event had unfolded. The giveaway brought together nearly 630 people in Biysk. Pyatkov’s effort and the support from his girlfriend made the day a success. The community’s response showed clear appreciation for the gesture.
