Breitungen's 10th Street Festival Brings Music, Food and Dancing to Life

Breitungen is set to host its tenth street festival this summer. The event promises a lively celebration with music, food, and dancing right in the heart of the town. Local groups and the municipality have joined forces to make it a memorable day. The festival will take place on Saturday, 4 July 2026, starting at 6 p.m. Amtsstraße will become a bustling festival mile, filled with activity and entertainment. Six local organisations, including the Breitungen Marksmen’s Association and Gasthaus 'Werraschlösschen', are working together with the municipality to organise the event.

Three venues between Herrenbreitungen and Frauenbreitungen will offer a varied programme. Live performances from bands like 'Schallloch' and 'iSi', along with DJ Paul, will keep the energy high. Dancing in the street will be a central feature, while food stalls and drink stands provide refreshments throughout the evening. The festival will bring the community together for an evening of entertainment. With live music, dancing, and local food, the event aims to celebrate Breitungen’s spirit.
