Vladivostok's 2026 Scallop Festival to Celebrate City's 166th Anniversary in Style

The 9th Primorsky Scallop Festival will take place in Vladivostok in 2026. It will form part of the city’s 166th anniversary celebrations on July 4 and will also feature in Youth Day events on June 27. A large gastronomic hub will open in Vladivostok’s central square. From July 6 to 19, 17 vendors will serve food daily between 10:00 AM and 10:00 PM. The festival’s restaurant programme begins with a set-menu dinner by Zuma’s brand chef, Roman Kotovsky, on July 6.

Several chefs will showcase unique scallop dishes. Ramanos Iliani of Tiama offered scallops with chimichurri sauce and marinated strawberries. Kotovsky paired scallops with sea urchin roe and mango mousse. Pyotr Birkin from Ulyss Asia served honey-glazed scallops with avocado cream and crispy dried peas.

A highlight will be a giant scramble made with 166 eggs, Far Eastern scallops, pollock, and squid. The festival will run alongside major city events in 2026. It will feature prominent chefs, daily vendor stalls, and special culinary creations. The celebrations will draw attention to Vladivostok’s food scene and cultural heritage.
