Kuban's food and drink brands face rigorous new compliance tests in 2026

The regional Department of Consumer Affairs has launched new regulatory compliance tests on 68 food products. These include 18 alcoholic beverages, all part of the Made in Kuban brand. The results will be published in July 2026. Specialists from the Krasnodar Territory Trade Development Center and accredited laboratories are conducting the inspections. They examine samples for organoleptic, physicochemical, and microbiological properties, as well as toxic element content. Some categories, like processed meats and dairy, face extra checks for GMOs and non-milk fats.

Over the past eight years, more than 1,500 product samples have undergone similar testing. A list of Made in Kuban products that passed previous checks is available on the official website under 'Laboratory Research'.
