Benitachell's Tasta l'estiu returns with summer tastings and local flavours
Benitachell’s popular gastronomic event, Tasta l'estiu, is back this summer to showcase the area’s best seasonal flavours. The series of tastings will run from June to August, offering a mix of local wines, craft beers, and traditional delicacies. Organisers expect it to become one of the season’s most anticipated events in the town. The festival kicks off on June 19 with a wine tasting led by the BioMoscatell association. More sessions will follow, including a craft beer tasting on July 9 and a carob product showcase on July 16. A honey tasting is scheduled for August 6.
The final event on August 19 will pair local wines with traditional delicacies. Each of the five sessions costs €3, with registration available at esdeveniments.benitatxell.es. Payment must be made by bank transfer within 48 hours of booking.
The event aims to connect residents and visitors through local produce. It also supports Benitachell’s push for sustainable tourism and the promotion of small-scale producers. Tasta l'estiu offers a chance to explore the region’s culinary traditions at an affordable price. The expanded programme now includes more than just wine, giving attendees a broader taste of local specialities. All sessions will take place between June 19 and August 19.
