Prague Celebrates Vietnam with a Record-Breaking 10-Metre Spring Roll

A 10-metre spring roll became the centrepiece of a Vietnamese food festival in Prague on 28 June 2026. The event aimed to highlight the country’s culinary traditions and strengthen cultural ties in Europe. Eight skilled artisans worked together to craft the giant spring roll. Their teamwork and precision turned the dish into a symbol of Vietnamese culinary artistry.

The spring roll was part of the Phở Cultural Roadshow Europe 2026. Alongside it, classic dishes like phở and gỏi cuốn were served to introduce visitors to Vietnam’s diverse flavours. Hundreds of local residents and Vietnamese expats in the Czech Republic attended the event. The promotion showcased Vietnamese cuisine to a wider audience. It also reinforced cultural exchange between Vietnam and European communities. The event was one of many planned to spread awareness of the country’s food heritage across the continent.
