Muchamiel's Tomato Fair Celebrates Heritage with Food and Fun on July 3–4

The Muchamiel Tomato Fair will celebrate the town’s iconic agricultural staple on July 3 and 4, 2023. The event blends heritage, gastronomy, and family-friendly activities for visitors of all ages. The fair will take place at Plaça Sant Roc in Muchamiel each evening from 7:30pm to 11:30pm. Attendees can explore stalls run by local producers, sample regional wines, and buy artisan products like handmade cheeses.

On July 3, a 'Peque Chefs' workshop will teach children how to prepare a tomato tartar. A wine tasting event will pair regional wines with Muchamiel tomatoes and traditional Coca de Mollitas. An artisan cheese tasting will also feature local varieties alongside the famous tomatoes.

An innovative cocktail workshop will show participants how to make a Muchamiel tomato Bloody Mary sorbet. Additionally, the Gardens of Santa Elena, a key cultural site, will be open for visitors to explore during the fair. The Muchamiel Tomato Fair offers a mix of food, culture, and entertainment. It aims to highlight the town’s agricultural roots while providing a memorable experience for food lovers and families. The event runs for two days with activities for all tastes.
