FuelHub's £6.5M Turnover Fuels Rapid Growth in Elite Nutrition Meals
FuelHub, a nutrition-focused meal provider for elite athletes and high performers, has seen rapid growth in recent years. The company, founded in 2019 by Michelle and James Laithwaite, now reports a turnover of £6.5 million for the financial year ending April 2026. This follows an eightfold increase in revenue over the past three years. The business began with a small subscriber base of 866 customers. Today, that number has risen to over 3,000. FuelHub’s expansion reflects a 98% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) during this period.
The company operates a fully in-house model, handling manufacturing, packing, and distribution itself. Current weekly production exceeds 25,000 meals, with total sales surpassing three million. A recent expansion at its North West headquarters will soon double capacity to around 50,000 meals per week.
FuelHub’s growth comes as the UK meal kit and prepared meals market continues to expand. Valued at £1 billion in 2023, the sector is expected to exceed £2 billion by 2030. The company’s focus on nutritionist-designed meals for elite performance has helped drive its success. With a turnover of £6.5 million and a rapidly growing customer base, FuelHub has established itself in a booming market. The upcoming production increase will further support its position as a key provider of performance-focused meals. The company’s vertical integration and strong growth figures highlight its expanding role in the industry.
