Habel Shooting Club Celebrates 100 Years with Music, Tradition, and Community

Habel Shooting Club will mark its 100th anniversary with a three-day celebration from June 27 to 29, 2026. The event is open to everyone, promising a mix of tradition, music, and community spirit. The festivities begin on Saturday at 7 p.m. with the ceremonial tapping of the beer barrel. The band 'Rhönadler' will provide live entertainment to kick off the weekend.

Sunday starts with a festive church service at 10 a.m. Later, a traditional brunch concert will feature the group 'Los Cassettos'. In the afternoon, welcoming speeches, honours, and the proclamation of the royal family are planned. Coffee and cake will be served from 3 p.m., with Sabine Hohmann performing for guests.

On Monday, the band 'Die 3 Fetzigen' will deliver musical entertainment. The celebration will close at 6 p.m. with a hearty meal, offering pork knuckle, boiled beef, and dark beer. The anniversary weekend will bring together music, food, and long-standing traditions. All attendees can enjoy a programme filled with local culture and community events. The club has extended an open invitation to share in this milestone occasion.
