Cold treat appliances see explosive sales growth ahead of summer

Sales of kitchen appliances for making cold treats have risen sharply this spring. Demand for ice generators, ice cream makers, and soda siphons has climbed significantly since April. The trend reflects a broader increase in seasonal purchases. Ice generator sales saw the most dramatic growth. Purchases rose by roughly 180% since April, with a 110-130% annual increase in May. At M.Video, sales nearly multiplied 18 times compared to the same period in 2025. On Avito, ice generator purchases more than doubled, increasing 2.2-fold in May.

Ice cream makers also experienced a surge in popularity. Demand rose by over 200% compared to April, while sales on Avito more than doubled in May. Year-over-year, ice cream maker sales jumped by 85%.

Other appliances followed the upward trend. Soda siphon sales increased by 65-70% year-over-year in May and nearly tripled compared to March and April. Juicer sales also climbed, rising by 35-40% over the past year in May. The sharp rise in sales highlights a strong consumer interest in home appliances for summer refreshments. Both online and retail platforms reported significant growth across multiple product categories. The figures suggest a sustained increase in demand for these items.
