Michelin Guide Crowns New Three-Star Gem in Rhineland-Palatinate's Elite Dining Scene

The Michelin Guide has announced its latest star ratings for restaurants in Rhineland-Palatinate. Several establishments have retained their prestigious awards, while others have achieved new recognition. The region continues to showcase its culinary excellence with both long-standing favourites and rising talents. L.A. Jordan in Deidesheim has become the newest addition to the three-star category. This marks the first time the restaurant has received the highest accolade from Michelin. Meanwhile, schanz.restaurant in Piesport and Waldhotel Sonnora in Dreis have both maintained their three stars, reaffirming their status among the region’s elite dining spots.

Steinheuers Restaurant Zur Alten Post in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler and Gotthardt’s by Yannick Noack in Koblenz have each kept their two Michelin stars. In Koblenz, Schiller’s Manufaktur and das Verbene have also retained their single stars, alongside Brogsitter in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler and Purs in Andernach.

Dopamin in Saarburg has earned its first Michelin star, highlighting its growing reputation. The restaurant’s head chef, Axel Boesen, was also recognised individually, receiving the 'Young Chef Award' as the most promising talent in Rhineland-Palatinate.
