Locksley's LiDAR Survey Unlocks Key Antimony Mine Potential in California

Locksley Resources Limited has completed a high-resolution LiDAR survey at its Desert Antimony Mine prospect in California. The company, listed on the ASX as LKY, used the technology to create precise 3D measurements of underground spaces, reducing risks in exploration. This achievement marks a key step in its transition from an exploration firm to a potential antimony producer. The LiDAR survey confirmed the presence of three previously mined quartz-carbonate-stibnite veins. These veins span a 130-metre strike length, validating historical mining records. Additionally, the survey mapped 236 metres of underground development across four distinct levels.

The precision of LiDAR allows Locksley to design more accurate and cost-effective drilling campaigns. This capability supports the company’s Mine-to-Metal strategy, which seeks to build a fully integrated domestic supply chain for antimony in the U.S. The government has classified antimony as a critical mineral, highlighting the importance of developing a stable domestic source.

Locksley has outlined a phased approach to advance the Desert Antimony Mine project by Q4 2025. The mine is recognised as one of the highest-grade antimony occurrences in the country. The completion of the LiDAR survey provides Locksley with detailed data to guide its next steps. The confirmed veins and underground structures strengthen the case for targeted drilling and further development. This progress aligns with the company’s goal of becoming a key player in the U.S. antimony supply chain.
