Andernach's Beloved Children's Store Reopens in Koblenz Under New Name

A well-known children's store in Andernach has closed its doors, but its inventory has found a new home in Koblenz. The former Bahnhofstraße location shut down on January 31 after a recent takeover. The same owners have now relaunched the business under a fresh name at Görresplatz.

The takeover was led by Katharina Grajewski, who succeeded Viola Wack as the store's new operator. Grajewski and her team already run Neka, a women's fashion boutique at 40 Firmungstraße on Jesuitenplatz. Their experience in the region made the transition smooth.

The revamped store, now called *Wunschkind by Neka*, opened on March 7. It offers a broad selection of children's products, from baby food and sleep essentials to nursing accessories and furniture. Shoppers can also find strollers, car seats, toys, plush animals, and books. The new location operates from Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The entire stock from the closed Andernach store has been moved to Koblenz, ensuring customers still have access to familiar products. This expansion also marks a shift for *Neka*, which will now focus entirely on stylish lifestyle offerings for women. The integration of *Wunschkind* is expected to strengthen the brand's presence in the Koblenz area.

The closure of the Andernach store has led to a fresh start in Koblenz under new management. Wunschkind by Neka now provides a wider range of children's goods at Görresplatz. The move consolidates the brand's retail footprint while maintaining its local ties.
