YouTuber Felix Zehner Opens Tavo, a Restaurant Inspired by His Hit Series
A new restaurant named Tavo has opened in Wiesbaden, founded by YouTuber Felix Zehner. The eatery brings to life dishes from his popular series Mission Restaurant. Zehner, who leads the kitchen as both owner and chef, aims to create a relaxed space with bold, familiar flavours.
Tavo is located at Goldgasse 4, offering a varied menu inspired by Zehner’s travels. Diners can choose from sandwiches, burgers, meat dishes, pasta, starters, and desserts. Each dish carries its own story, reflecting the culinary experiences Zehner has documented on his channel.
The restaurant operates from Tuesday to Thursday, 5 PM to 11 PM, with extended hours on Friday (5 PM to 1 AM) and weekends. On Saturdays, it opens at 12 PM and closes at 1 AM, while Sundays run from 12 PM to 8 PM. The kitchen remains closed on Mondays. Zehner emphasises 'honest cooking and high-quality ingredients' as the core of Tavo’s philosophy. He plans to be frequently present, assisting in the kitchen and engaging with guests. To maintain consistency, the staff has been trained to his exacting standards, ensuring the same experience even when he’s not there. Bernd Zehner, Felix’s father and a well-known YouTube personality, also plays a key role in the kitchen. Together, they aim to deliver a dining experience that stays true to the spirit of Mission Restaurant.
Tavo combines Zehner’s passion for travel and food with a focus on quality and authenticity. The restaurant’s opening hours cater to both evening diners and weekend visitors. With a hands-on approach from its founder, the venue promises a personal touch alongside its diverse menu.
