Wolfsburg: Spring Vibes, Shopping Delights, and Moments of Indulgence

Wolfsburg's Wine Festival and Late-Night Shopping Collide This May

This coming weekend, Wolfsburg's city center—along with the City-Galerie and Designer Outlets Wolfsburg—will welcome visitors to a special late-night shopping Sunday as part of the annual Wine Festival. The event promises a perfect blend of springtime charm, retail therapy, and culinary pleasures.

"The late-night shopping Sunday is a fantastic opportunity to experience the diversity and appeal of Wolfsburg's city center. Paired with the Wine Festival, it creates an inviting atmosphere that, with the best of spring weather, encourages people to linger and enjoy," says Jens Hofschröer, the city's economic development chief and managing director of WMG (Wolfsburg Marketing GmbH).

A Rich Selection of Wines

This year's first late-night shopping Sunday coincides for the first time with the Wine Festival. Now in its 38th edition, the Wolfsburg Wine Festival transforms the city center into a haven for wine lovers. Organized by vintner Eric Dorst and his partners, the event offers a wide range of premium wines—from crisp spring varieties to bold Rieslings. The culinary experience is rounded out with hearty dishes, including flammkuchen (Alsatian flatbread) and grilled specialties.
