Waffle House surprises with Valentine's Day candlelit dinners for 2026
Waffle House is opening its doors for Valentine's Day reservations—an unusual move for the casual dining chain. Known for its no-frills service, the restaurant will offer a candlelit dinner experience at 218 locations across 22 states. This marks the only day of the year when bookings are accepted for dinner ideas.
The event breaks from the chain's typical walk-in policy. On 14 February, tables will be dressed with white tablecloths and festive decorations. The special setup aims to create a more intimate atmosphere for diners looking for valentines day restaurants.
Reservations are exclusively available for Valentine's Day. Unlike other holidays, Waffle House does not take bookings at any other time. Over 200 branches will participate in the 2026 edition of the candlelit dinner.
Guests can secure a table for the one-night-only event. The chain's temporary shift to reservations highlights its effort to cater to couples on Valentine's Day. The decorated tables and candlelight will replace the usual fast-paced dining experience.
