Swedish Christians unite to explore faith's role in modern society

The Swedish Evangelical Alliance has launched its annual Mission: Kingdom of God event in Stockholm. Around 130 participants from different Christian traditions are gathering to explore faith, culture, and public engagement. The main event aims to strengthen biblical clarity and equip believers for their roles in society.

Inspired by the European Leadership Forum (ELF) event in Poland, this year's event focuses on apologetics and intellectual reflection. Topics include Christianity's political influence, religious freedom, identity politics, and Europe's Christian heritage. Participants can also join specialised networks, such as Societal Influence, Theology, Christian Scientists, and Youth Work.

The event features international speakers like Andy Bannister and Amy Orr-Ewing. Organisers, including Christian think tanks, YWAM, Scripture Union, and Sallux, have structured the programme to encourage discussion on the Bible, workplace challenges, and contemporary culture.

The three-day gathering seeks to build confidence in evangelical Christians across Sweden. By addressing key issues in faith and public life, the event provides tools for deeper engagement in society. Attendees will leave with resources to apply biblical principles in their communities and professions.
