Stefania Osteria brings rustic Italian flavors to Damansara Heights
A new casual Italian eatery has opened in Republik Damansara Heights. Stefania Osteria now occupies the ground-floor space once home to Blonde. The restaurant is a relaxed spinoff of Stefania Restaurant in Naza Tower, with chef Diego Reali leading both concepts.
An *osteria* traditionally offers rustic, hearty dishes at affordable prices. This latest addition follows that approach, serving simple yet flavourful Italian food in a laid-back setting.
The menu at Stefania Osteria features a mix of antipasti, pasta, and larger mains. Starters like Alici Marinate (RM36) and Polpettine di Agnello (RM28) have already won praise for their bold flavours. Most appetisers and pasta dishes sit in the RM30-40 range, while heartier mains average around RM65.
Among the pasta options, Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe (RM36) delivers good texture but falls slightly short on peppery kick. The Pappardelle al Ragù di Manzo (RM38), however, disappointed with its overly sweet *ragù* and faint Wagyu taste. For meat lovers, the Bistecchina di Manzo (RM52) offers a well-cooked skirt steak, though the *chimichurri* leans too heavily on oregano. Dessert brings a solid take on Tiramisù (RM38), staying true to the classic recipe. The restaurant operates daily from 12pm to 10.30pm, with reservations available via phone at 017-751 3238.
Stefania Osteria adds another Italian dining choice to Damansara Heights. Its menu balances affordability with quality, though some dishes miss the mark on flavour. Diners can expect a casual atmosphere and a selection of well-priced rustic dishes, open every day for lunch and dinner.
