RHEM-Café Reopens in Bad Salzungen with Homemade Ice Cream and Garden Seating
The RHEM-Café has reopened its doors in Bad Salzungen's historic graduator works. Georg Pfaff, a local entrepreneur from Dermbach, now manages the venue. Visitors can once again enjoy food, drinks, and a relaxed atmosphere in the heart of the spa town.
The café serves a variety of treats, from creative ice cream creations to homemade cakes and waffles. Specialty coffees and savoury snacks are also on the menu. During the summer months, guests can take advantage of outdoor seating in the graduation garden.
Pfaff brings experience from his Rhön Ice Cream Manufactory in Dermbach, where he produces ice cream using locally sourced milk. His decision to reopen the RHEM-Café follows the closure of its previous operation, making this the only confirmed gastronomic venture he currently runs in the region.
Nancy Bojens, a board member of Bad Salzungen's spa and tourism company, has welcomed Pfaff and his team. The café operates daily, opening at 11 a.m. and closing at 6 p.m.
The reopening adds a new dining option for locals and tourists in Bad Salzungen. With its mix of sweet and savoury offerings, the RHEM-Café aims to become a regular stop for those visiting the graduator works. The venue's daily hours and summer garden seating provide flexibility for guests throughout the season.
