Queen's Park, often called 'Baby Notting Hill', has seen a wave of new dining spots in recent years. The area's mix of family-friendly charm and bohemian energy continues to attract food lovers. Several fresh openings have added to its growing reputation as a foodie destination. Towards the end of last year, Casa Felicia arrived on the scene, bringing southern Italian flavours to the neighbourhood. Co-founder Francesco Sarvonio has set high ambitions, aiming to make it one of London's top Italian restaurants. The menu features classics with a twist, including a deconstructed parmigiana and zeppole doughnuts for dessert.
The Salusbury pub has also made a comeback, now with a refreshed menu by chef Tarryn Bingle. Dishes like grilled Cornish squid and Herdwick lamb have drawn in both regulars and newcomers. Meanwhile, Michiko Sushino, launched by fashion designer Michiko Koshino, offers authentic Japanese cuisine, adding another layer to the area's diverse food options.
Over on Lonsdale Road, Milk Beach opened as an all-day Australian restaurant, quickly becoming a local favourite. The street itself has transformed since Feldberg Capital took it over in 2017, introducing a wave of new food and drink operators. Another standout is Don't Tell Dad, a restaurant-bakery where Keren Sternberg's bakery has gained a loyal following.
Long-standing spots like Ida, a family-run Italian known for its pasta and occasional celebrity sightings, remain a staple. The mix of old and new continues to shape Queen's Park's culinary identity. The neighbourhood's food scene now includes everything from Italian classics to Japanese specialities and Australian brunch spots. With established names and fresh arrivals, Queen's Park keeps drawing diners looking for variety. The area's blend of affordability and creativity ensures its place on London's culinary map.
