Pushkin Card usage soars as Russian youth embrace cultural perks during spring break

During spring break, students and schoolchildren across Russia made active use of the Pushkin Card cultural program (0+).

According to VTB Bank, from March 28 to April 5, young people purchased nearly 700,000 tickets to cinemas, theaters, and museums, with total spending via the cards exceeding 350 million rubles.

Interest in the program traditionally surges during holidays—over this period, VTB issued more than 120,000 new cards, three times the number issued during last year's spring break. Since January, young people have activated a total of 6.5 million cards.

The most active regions for Pushkin Card usage were Tatarstan, Kemerovo Oblast, Krasnodar Krai, and Rostov Oblast.
