PrimaMedia, December 2. The Primorskaya Ptitsa brand has secured a confident victory at the All-Russian 100 Best Goods of Russia competition (12+), proving that products from Primorsky Krai manufacturers can rival the country's leading companies. The awards ceremony took place on Thursday, November 27, at the Primorsky Krai government building, where the enterprise received its well-deserved honors, reports the PrimaMedia news agency.

Rebuilt in 2020, the poultry farm—previously known as Mikhailovsky Broiler—now operates under the new name Primorskaya Ptitsa, continuing to benefit the region. Today, it remains the only chicken meat producer in Primorsky Krai, offering over 30 product lines, from chilled and frozen meat to ready-to-cook items, and producing more than 2,000 tons of goods monthly. The products are swiftly delivered to store shelves across the region.

"Our meat goes from slaughter to shelf—processed and shipped to stores immediately, ensuring both quality and safety," the company emphasizes. Primorskaya Ptitsa products are successfully sold not only in Primorsky Krai but also in neighboring Far Eastern regions.

Special attention is given to proper poultry farming and multi-stage quality control at every production stage. To achieve these results, the company underwent large-scale modernization, constructing 43 state-of-the-art poultry houses and two boiler plants while upgrading its engineering infrastructure. The hatchery, now fully operational, processes nearly 1 million incubation eggs monthly, sourced from a partner farm in Uzbekistan, ensuring exceptional quality and high productivity.

To further improve feed quality—a key factor in taste—Primorskaya Ptitsa launched its own modern feed mill in December 2023, with an annual capacity of 30,000 tons, fully meeting the factory's needs. Thanks to advanced technology and rigorous lab testing, the grain-based feed guarantees high-quality, safe, and GMO-free meat.

The brand's triumphant debut at the federal 100 Best Goods of Russia competition reaffirms that the company is on the right path. Top honors went to its Kyiv-style cutlets, made from tender chilled chicken fillet, and spicy chili chicken wings. Even after freezing, these products retain their freshness and natural flavor, allowing for a quick yet gourmet meal.

"Our victory is proof that we truly make a natural product," said Sergei Timoshenko, the company's CEO. "It's especially meaningful that, competing for the first time, we earned recognition at the national level. It's gratifying to know that the best products from Primorye are the very ones our people have already come to love. We reached these heights thanks to the hard work and skill of our employees—their golden hands made it possible."

Andrei Demin, the deputy director of production who has worked at the company for four years, was awarded the "Quality Excellence" badge. For him, this honor was a testament to the achievements of the entire team.

Kirill Khizhinsky, Deputy Chairman of the Primorye Territory government, who attended the awards ceremony, highlighted the contest's growing popularity. "It's particularly heartening to see more and more Primorye-based businesses taking part in such a prestigious competition each year. This time, the number of participants doubled. Thank you for feeding the people of our region with high-quality, delicious products," he said.
