Nvidia's Jensen Huang savors Seoul's food and culture in whirlwind weekend
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang spent the weekend exploring Seoul’s food scene and meeting local business leaders. His visits included traditional Korean meals, casual dining spots, and even a PC bang in Gangnam.
Huang began his Friday evening with a samgyeopsal barbecue dinner in Hongdae, joined by Korean business leaders. Before leaving, he signed the restaurant table with a playful message: 'Jensen was here' followed by 'Love Love Love' and his autograph.
Later that night, he stopped by BBQ Chicken for a second meal, ordering Golden Olive Chicken and other dishes. Outside the restaurant, he handed out chicken to fans, posed for photos, and signed more autographs. The next day, Huang enjoyed *samgyetang*—traditional boiled ginseng chicken soup—with his family at Tosokchon in Jongno District. He praised the meal as *'so delicious'* and admired the restaurant’s *hanok* (traditional Korean house) setting. The group also ordered fried chicken and green onion pancakes. On Sunday, Huang met Krafton Chairman Chang Byung-gyu and NCSoft CEO Kim Taek-jin at a *PC bang* in Gangnam. Later in the day, he is set to throw the ceremonial first pitch at a baseball game between the Doosan Bears and Kiwoom Heroes, wearing a jersey with the number 93.
Huang’s weekend in Seoul mixed business with leisure, featuring high-profile meetings and a taste of local cuisine. His public appearances, from signing autographs to attending a baseball game, drew attention from fans and media alike.
