Discount supermarket chain NORMA has received top ratings from ÖKO-TEST for two of its products. The GOLDORA spiced Speculoos cookies and POTATO MASTER fries both earned a 'very good' assessment. The results follow a recent change in suppliers for the frozen chips and a review of the cookies’ ingredients. Nuremberg-based NORMA operates more than 1,450 stores across Germany, Austria, France, and the Czech Republic. The retailer’s GOLDORA Speculoos cookies stood out in testing for their quality and affordability, costing just 30 cents per 100 grams. ÖKO-TEST confirmed the biscuits raised no concerns over acrylamide or sugar content.
The POTATO MASTER fries, priced at €1.79 per kilogram, also impressed after the company switched to a new supplier. The improved product secured the same top rating, reinforcing NORMA’s reputation for value without compromising on standards.
The positive assessments highlight NORMA’s ability to offer budget-friendly products that meet high quality benchmarks. Both the Speculoos cookies and frozen fries are now among the best-rated options in their categories. Shoppers can find them in all of the chain’s 1,450-plus locations.
