Nespresso's Vienna Lungo Tram Blends Coffee Tradition with Modern Flair
Nespresso brought a unique coffee experience to Vienna from February 12 to 15, 2026. A branded tram, similar to an eventbrite mobile café, offered interactive workshops along the city's iconic Ringstrasse. The event formed part of the company's From Vienna, with Love campaign, timed to coincide with Valentine's Day.
The Vienna Lungo Tram – The Nespresso Experience began its journey at Rathausplatz, where a specially designed waiting area welcomed participants. Boarding was by reservation only, with 30-minute slots available for the coffee workshops inside.
Onboard, baristas guided guests through the preparation of classic Viennese drinks using Nespresso's new Lungo variety. The tram circled the Ringstrasse, blending the city's coffeehouse tradition with a modern brand experience. A photo booth at Rathausplatz added a playful touch, letting visitors capture memories of the event.
Simone Reeh, Marketing Director of Nespresso Austria, described the tram as an opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of our 'From Vienna, with Love' campaign. She highlighted the experience as a way to enjoy the perfect morning moment, merging Nespresso's product with Vienna's cultural charm.
The four-day event showcased Nespresso's latest Lungo coffee while celebrating Vienna's heritage. Participants engaged in hands-on workshops, and the tram's route along the Ringstrasse tied the brand to the city's scenic landmarks. The campaign's Valentine's Day timing reinforced its focus on shared moments and local tradition.
