Mainz Welcomes a New Global Food Market with Asian and African Flavors

A new international food market has opened its doors in Mainz. Located at 22 Binger Straße, the store replaces a former mattress shop and brings a wide range of Asian, African, and global specialties to the area. The branch marks the third outlet for Asian Avenue, the company behind the project. The supermarket launched on March 28, 2023, under the management of Asian Avenue. The business already operates similar stores in Neuss and Ludwigshafen. Customers can now explore a diverse selection of products, from everyday groceries to harder-to-find international ingredients.

To celebrate the opening, the store is offering discounts throughout April. Shoppers spending €25 or more will receive a 5% reduction, while those spending €50 or more will get 10% off their bill. The promotion will continue for loyalty card holders from May until December 31, 2026, with the same discount structure in place. The company has not announced plans for further branches beyond this new location by the end of 2026.

The Mainz branch expands Asian Avenue's presence in Germany. The store's opening promotions and long-term loyalty discounts aim to attract regular shoppers. Residents now have access to a broader variety of international foods in the city centre.
