LTN unveils IP-driven live content solutions at 2024 IBC Show
LTN will take centre stage at the 2024 IBC Show to highlight its latest advancements in live content distribution. The company has chosen the Content Everywhere Zone for its exhibition, reflecting its commitment to flexible, IP-based solutions. Among the key topics will be the growing shift away from traditional fibre and satellite methods toward smarter, internet-driven alternatives. Rick Young, senior vice president and head of global products for LTN, will lead the company’s presence at Stand 5.A76. He attends IBC each year to connect with major customers, partners, and industry figures, focusing on discussions about future-proofing live content workflows.
LTN will showcase several technologies designed to modernise distribution. LTN Wave offers a reliable, cost-effective IP alternative to legacy fibre and satellite systems for top-tier media firms. Meanwhile, LTN Lift helps automate the creation of digital linear channels, tailoring content for FAST and other digital platforms. A highlight of the event will be a joint panel with IMAX, where LTN will present LTN Arc. This solution allows sports bodies and streaming services to acquire, adapt, and deliver live sports events to global audiences. The company also expects debates around faster adoption of intelligent IP-based distribution to dominate conversations at the show.
The 2024 IBC Show will give LTN a platform to demonstrate how its tools streamline live event distribution. By emphasising IP-based models, the company aims to provide media firms with greater control over their content. The event will also underscore the industry’s move toward more scalable, customisable streaming solutions.
