Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons to Close for Historic 2026 Redevelopment
Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons, A Belmond Hotel, will close for a major redevelopment in January 2026. The historic property, which has held two Michelin stars since 1984, will reopen in summer 2027 after extensive upgrades. The project aims to modernise the hotel while keeping its long-standing commitment to seasonal, sustainable cooking. Before its temporary closure, the hotel will host a series of celebratory events. Guests can expect special dining experiences and gatherings to mark the occasion.
The redevelopment will cover all aspects of the property. Accommodation, dining programmes, and landscaped gardens will receive significant enhancements. Belmond has emphasised that the work will respect the hotel’s heritage while preparing it for future visitors. Raymond Blanc, the hotel’s founder, will transition into the role of Lifetime Ambassador. He will continue to shape the hotel’s culinary philosophy and ethos during and after the transformation. This project follows similar updates at other Belmond properties, including Villa San Michele, Splendido, and Maroma. The company views these efforts as part of its broader mission to preserve and enhance its historic sites worldwide.
The redevelopment will reinforce Le Manoir’s reputation for seasonal, sustainable dining. When it reopens in 2027, the hotel will offer updated facilities while maintaining its two-Michelin-star legacy. Belmond’s investment ensures the property remains a leading destination for years to come.
