Huércal-Overa launches Ruta Burger 04 with food trucks and live music this June

Huércal-Overa is set to host the opening of Ruta Burger 04, a four-day street food festival. Running from Thursday 4 to Sunday 7 June, the event will bring ten food trucks and live entertainment to the Recinto Ferial. Mayor Domingo Fernández has welcomed the event as a boost for both locals and visitors. The Almería Burger Tour kicks off at 6pm each evening and runs until midnight. Food trucks will serve signature burgers, from classic recipes to bold new flavours. Talented chefs will prepare a wide range of street food options for attendees.

Beyond food, the festival offers live music, children’s activities, and recreational spaces. The event aims to create a family-friendly atmosphere while supporting local businesses. Organisers hope it will draw crowds and encourage exploration of Huércal-Overa. Mayor Fernández highlighted the event’s role in promoting tourism and leisure. By bringing together food, entertainment, and community, Ruta Burger 04 seeks to strengthen the local economy and provide an enjoyable experience for all ages.

The festival runs for four days at the Recinto Ferial, with free entry for all visitors. Food trucks, music, and activities will be available nightly from 6pm to midnight. The event is expected to leave a lasting impact on tourism and local trade in the region.
