Halle's Disability Council Hosts Charity Bake for Railway Mission
(Halle (Saale) – our website/ps) The City of Halle (Saale)'s Disability Advisory Council is once again hosting its annual charity baking event this year. On Friday, December 5, 2025, guests will gather at the Micheel Cooking Studio (Hansering 15) to bake together. In observance of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities—marked each year on December 3—the initiative will see participants baking cookies for those in need through the Halle (Saale) Railway Mission, while also collecting donations.
The event is organized by Karsten Isaack, chair of the Disability Advisory Council, and Dr. Toralf Fischer, the city's commissioner for the affairs of people with disabilities. Simone Pareigis, the council's deputy chair, is preparing the baking ingredients.
Confirmed attendees include state parliament members Dr. Katja Pähle (SPD) and Wolfgang Aldag (Green Party), city councilor Claudia Schmidt (CDU), Manfred Czock (CDU, advisory member of the Disability Advisory Council), and Julius Neumann (SPD state parliament candidate).
After the baking, the freshly made cookies will be handed over to Elke Schieweck of the Halle (Saale) Railway Mission.
