Good Monk Raises ₹33 Cr in Pre-Series A to Fuel Nutrition Expansion

Good Monk, a direct-to-consumer (D2C) nutrition brand, has secured ₹33 Cr (around $3.6 Mn) in its pre-Series A funding round. The investment values the company at ₹175 Cr (approximately $19.5 Mn) and follows a period of rapid expansion since its launch in 2022.

The funding round was led by RPSG Capital Ventures, with contributions from Sharrp Ventures, Hyperscale Ventures, and the families of cofounders Amarpreet Singh Anand and Sahiba Kaur. This latest injection of capital builds on last year's $2 Mn pre-Series A round and an earlier investment secured through Shark Tank India.

Good Monk specialises in dietary supplements, drink mixes, and plant-based protein powders designed to boost daily nutrition. The brand operates under SuperFoods Valley, which also runs WhatsYourNiq, a personalised food recommendation app.

The funds will support research and development for new products, as well as expansion into tier II and III markets. Currently, Good Monk sells through its own website and major ecommerce platforms like Amazon and Flipkart. The company is also exploring new formats to integrate nutrition into everyday diets more seamlessly.

Since its founding in 2022, Good Monk has reported a 25-fold growth in the last 18 months. The brand's focus remains on broadening its digital presence and product range to reach a wider audience.

The fresh funding will help Good Monk accelerate product innovation and strengthen its market reach. With a valuation of ₹175 Cr, the company is positioning itself to tap into India's growing demand for accessible nutrition solutions. Expansion into smaller cities and new product formats are key priorities for the coming year.
