Girl Scouts Launch New Exploremores Cookie for 2025 Season
Girl Scout cookie season has officially begun, bringing back classic flavours alongside a new treat. This year's selection includes Exploremores, a Rocky Road-inspired cookie filled with chocolate, marshmallow, and toasted almond crème. Local troops have already started setting up booths to sell the popular fundraiser items.
The new Exploremores cookie was first introduced in the US in 2025, joining the well-known Thin Mints and other favourites. These cookies take inspiration from Rocky Road ice cream, blending rich chocolate with marshmallow and a hint of almond. However, they remain unavailable in Germany, as Girl Scouts of the USA does not operate official troops there.
Around six to eight local Girl Scout troops are participating in this year's sales. Some will host cookie booths this weekend, giving families a chance to stock up on their favourite treats. The money raised from these sales supports activities and learning programmes for girls in the organisation.
The Girl Scouts provide a range of opportunities beyond cookie sales. Members take part in outdoor adventures, skill-building workshops, and community projects designed for girls and their families.
Exploremores and other cookies will be sold at local booths throughout the season. The funds collected will help sustain programmes and activities for Girl Scout members. As of now, these cookies—and the organisation itself—remain exclusive to the US, with no official presence in Germany.
