Chops Lobster Bar Expands to Downtown Atlanta's Centennial Yards in 2026

Chops Lobster Bar, a well-known seafood restaurant, is expanding within Atlanta. The brand has signed a lease at the $5 billion Centennial Yards development in downtown. This will mark its second location in the city, set to open in late 2026.

The restaurant first launched in Buckhead in 1989. Over the years, it has remained a popular spot for seafood lovers. Beyond Atlanta, the only other Chops Lobster Bar operates in Boca Raton, Florida.

The new Centennial Yards location will span 13,000 square feet. This expansion comes as part of the larger redevelopment of downtown Atlanta. No further locations exist outside of these two cities.

With the 2026 opening, Chops Lobster Bar will have two Atlanta sites. The Centennial Yards branch will join the original Buckhead restaurant and the Boca Raton venue. These remain the only three locations worldwide.
