Cheesetique's Raclette Fest Returns With Melted Cheese and Alpine Fun for Three Weeks

Cheesetique in Del Ray is bringing back its popular Raclette Fest for the eighth year running. From February 23 to March 15, diners can enjoy tableside melted cheese, alpine-inspired dishes, and themed entertainment. The festival kicks off with a lively Après-Ski Party on February 22, offering an all-you-can-eat raclette feast and ski-lodge fun.

The Raclette Fest centres on tableside cheese wheel raclette, served with fresh bread, seasonal vegetables, and sausage. Guests can also add raclette to any regular menu item for an extra $12. Special dishes include charcuterie boards, raclette cheese dip with pretzels, apple strudel, and alpine-themed cocktails.

Before the main event, the Après-Ski Party on February 22 will set the mood with an unlimited raclette spread. Attendees can pose at a ski-lodge photo booth, dance to a DJ set, and compete for prizes in 'ski-chic' attire. Tickets cost $45, though drinks are sold separately.

Throughout the festival, tables will feature giant Jenga and conversation cards to keep the atmosphere lively. No other venue in the Washington, D.C. area has hosted a similar winter food festival focused on melted cheese in recent years.

The festival runs for three weeks, blending Swiss alpine traditions with interactive dining. With special menus, games, and themed parties, Cheesetique aims to offer a unique winter experience. Tickets for the opening party and reservations for the fest are now available.
