Second place went to Eight in Calgary, Canada, while Restaurant Pearl Morissette in Lincoln, Nebraska, secured third.
The California selections include well-known names like Addison in San Diego, Benu in San Francisco, and Atelier Crenn, also in San Francisco. Los Angeles saw Somni reopen in December 2024 after a four-year closure, earning three Michelin stars alongside Providence. Both restaurants returned to the list this year.
New entries feature Sons and Daughters in San Francisco, as well as Somni in West Hollywood and Addison. Returning Los Angeles and San Francisco spots include Holbox, Kato, Providence, Atelier Crenn, Saison, and Benu.
Special awards went to Atelier Crenn for sustainability, Wildweed as One to Watch, and Restaurant Pearl Morissette for hospitality. Chef Mashama Bailey was named North America’s Best Female Chef, while Korean chef Corey Lee received the Estrella Damm Chefs’ Choice Award.
