Burger Singh raises ₹82 Cr to fuel franchise expansion across India

Burger Singh has secured ₹82 Cr (around $8.8 Mn) in its latest funding round. The Indian quick-service restaurant chain plans to use the fresh capital to expand its franchise network and improve operations. This investment follows a year of strong growth, with the company reporting ₹117 Cr in revenue for FY25.

Founded in 2014 by Kabir Jeet Singh and Nitin Rana, Burger Singh has grown to over 200 outlets in more than 100 cities. The brand focuses on offering Indian-inspired burgers at competitive prices, positioning itself as a local alternative to international fast-food chains.

The Series B round was led by Artal Asia, with contributions from Negen Undiscovered Value Fund, Aurum Rising India Fund, and other backers. The funding valued the company at ₹520 Cr. Burger Singh operates on a franchise-first model, where individual operators manage stores while the company provides centralised support. The new funds will go towards store design, staff training, supply chain upgrades, technology, and operational efficiency. The goal is to create a structured platform for restaurant entrepreneurship and strengthen its presence nationwide.

With this investment, Burger Singh aims to refine its franchise system and expand further across India. The company's focus remains on building a scalable model that supports local operators while maintaining affordable pricing. The latest funding round marks another step in its growth strategy.
