Braunschweig's Indoor Street Food Festival Brings Global Flavors in January 2026
An indoor street food festival is coming to Braunschweig in January 2026. The three-day event, organized by the Event-Team, will take place at the Millennium Event Center (MEC), offering a mix of global cuisine, live music, and family-friendly activities. The festival promises a variety of flavors and entertainment for all ages.
The festival kicks off on Friday at 4 PM and runs until 10 PM. On Saturday, doors open at midday and close at 10 PM, while Sunday's hours are 12 PM to 8 PM. Entry costs €4, though children can attend for free.
Visitors will find food trucks serving smaller portions, with no dish priced above €7. New additions this year include takoyaki, köfte sandwiches, dragon's breath snacks, Ukrainian street food, and matcha specialties. Alongside the food, there will be sweet treats, international street food highlights, and a 'beer journey' showcasing global brews.
Beyond eating, the festival features live music, a dedicated kids' area, and on-site parking for convenience.
The Indoor Streetfood Festival at the MEC runs from Friday to Sunday. With affordable entry, diverse food options, and entertainment, it aims to attract both locals and visitors. The Event-Team has planned a mix of flavors and activities to suit different tastes and ages.
