Cozy Alpine Lodges Meet Live Music in the High Black Forest

The new High Black Forest Lodge Afternoons series kicks off on Thursday, May 7, 2026, running through Thursday, July 2, 2026. Over six dates, lodges around the Feldberg mountain will host convivial afternoons blending regional flavors, live music, and glimpses into the lives of lodgekeepers, according to the Hochschwarzwald Tourismus GmbH.

The events will rotate among iconic spots like the Menzenschwand Lodge, Raimartihof, St. Wilhelmer Lodge, and Todtnau Lodge, each offering its own rustic charm.

Spread across Thursdays in May, June, and July, the gatherings invite guests to enjoy the lodges' usual hospitality—whether or not they attend the special programs.

For easy access, a dedicated Lodge Express shuttle will run from Hinterzarten, Titisee, and Feldberg-Bärental directly to the venues. Seating is limited, so reservations are required.

This new initiative is part of a broader effort to better connect and promote the region's alpine lodges, weaving together outdoor adventure, local culture, and culinary traditions for an authentic Black Forest experience.
