Beloved Burlinka Grill Café in Omsk to close on 1 April

Burlinka Grill Café, a well-known spot in Omsk, will shut its doors for good on 1 April. The owners have decided to leave the hospitality business and move to another city. Their departure marks the latest change in the local food scene. The café, located at 72/5 10 Let Oktyabrya Street, has served customers for years. Its closure follows the recent shutdown of two other eateries: a pizzeria on Lukashévicha Street and a bakery on Zhúkova Street. No official reasons were given for those closures, and no other gastronomic venues in Omsk have been reported as closing in 2023 or 2024.

A new business will soon take over the space. While keeping some of Burlinka's traditions, the incoming owners plan to introduce fresh ideas to the menu and atmosphere. The café's final day of operation will be 1 April. After that, the site will reopen under new management with a different concept. The owners' relocation leaves a gap in Omsk's dining options, though the replacement venture aims to fill it quickly.
