Aldi Süd's New Dual-Zone Air Fryer Drops Just in Time for Christmas
Aldi Süd will launch the Ambiano Dual-Zone Air Fryer just before Christmas, priced at €74.99. The appliance arrives as air fryers remain a top gift choice for their practicality and modern appeal. This model stands out with its dual-basket design and user-friendly features. The Ambiano Dual-Zone Air Fryer lets users cook two different dishes at once. Each of its non-stick baskets holds 5.5 litres, and both are dishwasher-safe for easy cleaning. An intuitive touchscreen offers eight pre-set functions, simplifying meal preparation.
The device supports multi-level cooking, making it versatile for everyday use. It also promotes healthier frying by reducing fat without compromising taste. Aldi Süd backs the product with a three-year warranty, adding long-term value. This release follows a recent court ruling against the retailer. In December, the Oberlandesgericht Düsseldorf banned Aldi Süd's 'price trickery' after a case brought by Verbraucherzentrale Baden-Württemberg. The ruling requires discounts to reference the lowest price from the past 30 days—not just the manufacturer's suggested retail price (UVP). A separate OLG Karlsruhe decision in March 2026 reinforced similar standards for proportional discounts, though it did not involve Aldi directly.
The Ambiano Dual-Zone Air Fryer hits Aldi Süd shelves on December 22. Its dual-basket system and health-focused cooking options cater to busy households. Meanwhile, the retailer must now adjust its pricing displays to comply with the court's stricter discount rules.
